Hvönn Restaurant is an experimental kitchen that focuses on using local Icelandic ingredients. We source our meat, fish, and vegetables locally, blending Icelandic and international culinary traditions through fermentation techniques (kombucha, lactic acid fermentation, kefir) and drying methods. These practices give our food a unique and special taste and texture.
During the day, we offer a bistro menu with delicious Icelandic choices, and in the evenings, we present an exciting fine-dining menu. Emphasizing on local and seasonal produce, we add courses whenever we acquire exciting new ingredients.
Our chef, Bjarki Sól, has many years of experience improving the quality of food companies in the area, he brings his extensive expertise and connections to our restaurant.
